O vento soprava pela janela aberta a uma temperatura confortável, quente e fria. As cortinas brancas tremulavam, em ondas, e caíam repetidamente. Seu cabelo era movido sutilmente pelo vento, fazendo-o se sentir em paz. Carlyle olhou para as reservas do voo em sua mesa.
A companhia aérea é a British Airways. Seu destino era o aeroporto Charles de Gaulle, com previsão de partida em dois dias. Era a primeira vez que Carlyle passava por isso: estava acostumado a viajar em jato particular, mas não odiou graças ao nome escrito no papel.
Ash Frost Jones.
Esse nome era milagroso. Afinal, como explicar ficar tão feliz só de olhar para aquele nome escrito? Carlyle refletiu o nome que estava olhando há mais de 30 minutos, e o manteve constantemente em seus olhos. Mesmo tendo trabalho a fazer, ele não conseguia parar de pensar nisso.
Seu sobrenome estava ligado ao nome de Ash. Quando precisava se convencer de que era uma realidade, Carlyle repetia aquele nome escrito em seus pensamentos – às vezes se sentia ansioso, com receio de ser um sonho. O casamento tinha corrido bem e, embora houvesse registros em todos os documentos oficiais, ele não conseguia acreditar.
Carlyle leu o nome escrito silenciosamente. Ash Frost Jones. Não havia problema em usar seu nome de solteiro, mas Ash escolheu usar o sobrenome de Carlyle: “Frost”. Embora tenha sido escolha de Ash, Carlyle pensou que seu amado estava se sacrificando demais, então foi cuidadoso no início. Se Ash não estivesse decidido a abraçar seu sobrenome, ele o teria parado.

Chamando carinhosamente o nome de Bombom , Carlyle se levantou. Ele hesitou um pouco enquanto caminhava em direção à porta da frente, com um passo firme e elegante mesmo em casa. Ele, inadvertidamente, pensou em girar a maçaneta pois mal conseguia suportar a situação. Não, Carlyle. E se Bonbon crescer como um cachorro mimado?
Ele costumava tentar ponderar com Ash, mas para Carlyle, educação era sinônimo de rigor: O treinador não enfatizou esse ponto também?
Carlyle forçou sua razão a não ceder ao apelo de Bombom . Ele se perguntou mais uma vez se isso causaria problemas. Ash estava começando a se preparar para trabalhar em casa, e Carlyle estava trabalhando em casa para passar mais tempo com Bombom . Mas o Rut de Ash era um problema, pois deixava Bombom ansioso.

Através da porta aberta, Ash podia ser visto no corredor. Ele se sentou com os joelhos dobrados para ficar na altura de Bombom , com seus belos olhos voltados para cima. Assim que o ouviu, Carlyle parou. Ash era muito bom em representar Bombom , e a palavra “mestre” deixava Carlyle envergonhado. Era como se ele realmente fosse dono de Ash…
Não, que tipo de ideia estúpida é essa. É apenas um faz-de-conta. Ele estava com vergonha de ter pensado nisso desde que Ash trouxe Bombom e fazia brincadeiras do gênero, então Carlyle tomou uma decisão. Agora ele era o marido de Ash. — Não aguentei… senti falta do meu marido.
Ash soltou Bombom e abraçou Carlyle com força. Ash gentilmente envolveu um de seus braços ao redor de sua cintura e esfregou sua bochecha contra o pescoço dele. Ele era mais fofo do que Bombom . Ultimamente, tinha sido como uma competição.

Seu coração acelerou ao ouvir a palavra “casal”, fazendo cócegas nas palmas de suas mãos. Uma onda de alegria tomou conta de Carlyle. Agora que eles estão casados. Não era apropriado chamá-lo assim? Os lábios que faziam cócegas em sua orelha se moveram gradualmente. Seu lábio inferior foi levemente mordido. Ash, que o mordiscava repetidamente, moveu sua língua macia em algum momento, abrindo o espaço entre seus lábios. Carlyle reagiu ao ato tão familiar quanto respirar. Ash sentou-se ao lado de Carlyle e colocou o braço em volta de seus ombros. Um suspiro quente escapou de seus lábios, tornando inevitável que eles se beijassem. Foi o mesmo para Carlyle. Depois que Ash encontrou o álbum de casamento entre os documentos, Carlyle percebeu que talvez ele estivesse exagerando. Ele já estava envergonhado de pensar em como Ash reagiria se descobrisse o que estava fazendo… Se ele soubesse que estava olhando os bilhetes impressos. Sentia que essa forma de agir não era correta para um adulto.
— Você ainda está ocupado? Não se pressione. Se preciso, podemos mudar nosso itinerário de viagens a qualquer momento.
Claro, era bom que Ash o amasse. No entanto, agora ele era seu marido. E, embora fosse um ano mais novo, Carlyle sentia que a diferença de idade era muito maior e isso tornava ainda mais difícil a missão de ser o marido no qual Ash pudesse confiar.

Houve uma risada suave. Ash piscou os olhos e abaixou a cabeça, pegando a mão de Carlyle e dando um beijo na ponta de seus dedos.
— Olá, meu nome é Ash Frost Jones. Eu sou o marido de Carlyle Frost.
A voz que ele fez ao se apresentar era encantadora, como se eles tivessem se encontrado pela primeira vez. No momento em que ouviu o nome completo sair da boca de Ash, ficou difícil de suportar. — Lyle é zeloso, então eu tenho que cuidar dele. Se Bonbon estiver triste, você ficará triste.
Carlyle assentiu, tentando dizer que estava tudo bem, tendo em mente que foi ele quem empurrou Ash antes. Foi difícil de suportar, mas Carlyle olhou nos olhos castanhos de Bombom se e decidiu. Um cavalheiro deve cumprir sua palavra. Carlyle endireitou as roupas enquanto observava o Bonbom à espera da sua escolta.
Havia escutado inúmeras histórias em sua vida que o casamento trazia muitas mudanças. É uma história que era particularmente familiar para Carlyle. Vendo o homem que ousou voltar quando podia simplesmente deixá-lo segui-los, Carlyle esperou pacientemente, seus cílios tremeram e um profundo suspiro fluiu pelo espaço entre seus lábios pálidos. Era uma alegria que não se podia comparar com o momento em que fez de Ash seu amante.
O simples fato de saber que a pessoa que caminhava olhando para ele era oficialmente seu cônjuge deu a ele uma sensação de plenitude espiritual. As cores em todos os lugares ficaram mais brilhantes e a vida estava cheia de alegria. Havia uma certeza que era claramente diferente de quando eles estavam apenas namorando, onde às vezes se sentia ansioso. Ash pegou sua mão e agarrou a coleira de Bombom para continuar seu caminho. Como se estivesse satisfeito em simplesmente encharcar Ash, Bombom começou a segui-los lentamente também. Uma brisa suave depois da chuva bagunçou seus cabelos.
— Você sabe que vamos embora depois de amanhã.
Enquanto caminhavam juntos, Ash falou sobre a viagem. Eles estavam indo para as Maldivas em um avião normal, não em um avião particular, com a intenção de ir em lua de mel como os outros, ainda assim, Carlyle odiava ver outras pessoas olhando para Ash, mas como não haveria pessoas no complexo hoteleiro, Carlyle foi capaz de se comprometer. Ash parou inclinou a cabeça ligeiramente. Com as sobrancelhas levantadas e olhos cerrados, acariciou o queixo como se estivesse arrependido.

Ash se aproximou, apoiando o queixo em seu ombro, mordeu o lóbulo de sua orelha e sussurrou.
